As of 4pm Sunday， the death toll from the devastating mudslide in Zhouqu had hit 1，248 with 496 others still missing. 66 survivors were being treated in hospital， and a total of 1，243 people had been rescued.

As main roads have been unblocked， relief materials can now be delivered to the disaster zone swiftly. Meanwhile， temporary water supply points have been set up across the county.
