Normally, only institutional investors undertake such large trades(交易量为至少1万股股票或者价值20万的证券的交易，一般只有集团型投资者才会进行此类交易)。 与之相关的还有一种交易系统叫做bid trading system(竞价交易系统)，bid trade(竞价交易)一般来讲，是指两个以上的买方和两个以上的卖方通过公开竞价形式来确定证券买卖价格的情形。
