对话 1 (A=Peter B=Guide)
A:So, where are we now?
A：我们这是到了哪儿？
B:We"re at the Cordova Street. It"s a good place to get a bird"s eye view of Vancouver. On a clear day like today, Mt. Baker in Washington State is visible.

A:Can I get a higher place to overlook Mt. Baker?

A:OK. I won"t go. Let"s go somewhere else.

B:Now let"s go through the museum district and then up Robson Street. When we return we"ll take another way to the harbor.

B:The Vancouver Art Gallery and the Canadian Crafts Musajm are at the junction between downtown and the Pacific Center shopping mall.

对话 2 (A=Susan B=Bob)
(Bob just came back from San Francisco, and now Susan is asking Bob about his trip.)

A:Bob! How was your trip? I"m dying to hear all about it.
A：鲍勃，你的旅行如何？我非常想听一听你这次旅行的情况。
B:It was wonderful, Susan. I really loved it.
B：旅行好极了。苏珊，这次旅行非常愉快。
A:So, what did you think of San Francisco?
A：说说看，你觉得旧金山怎么样？
B:Beautiful. Have you ever been there?
B：很漂亮。你去过那里吗？
A:No,I haven"t. So tell me about it.
A：没有，所以给我讲讲吧。
B:Hmmm. It is really a beautiful city. Mostly because it"s so different, I think. Everywhere you look there are hilly streets, beautiful old Victorian homes and buildings, the bay,and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.
B：恩。城市真是很漂亮。我想主要是因为它很独特。不论到了哪里，到处是参差错落的街道，漂亮的维多利亚时代的旧屋旧楼。还有那海湾，当然还有金门大桥。
A:Oh,How lovely! How I wish I could go there someday!
A：哦，多好啊！真希望有一天我也能到那儿！
B:And its traffic system is convenient and restaurants are good and with great variety.
B：另外，那儿的交通也很方便，餐馆很好而且有各种风味。
A:How was your hotel?
A：你住的酒店怎么样？
B:It was small and very old but very clean, besides, the rates were quite reasonable.
B：不大，很旧但很干净，而且价格公道。
A:Sounds terrific. San Francisco,here I come.
A：听起来很不错。旧金山，我也要去了。
