This is quite an old topic to debate on (reminds me of all the debates I had in secondary school).
I am a person who think that money,in itself,like knives and scissors,do not pose any harm to people.Rather,it is due to greed that brings out the bad side of mankind,thus misusing money (through corruption and other malpractices) for the benefit of one particular party and causing harm to others (economically,physically,mentally,etc.).
However,we cannot dismiss the possibility that it is also through money that greed surfaces in a human being,right?Still,can we say that if there is no money,then there is no greed?I don think so,too.
I don think we can say that money is THE root of all evil,because other factors (such as greed,economic stability,etc.) are not mutually exclusive,and all those factors could have led to all evil.
