As I have mentioned, I love summer, so I wish I could live at the Equatorwhere there is only this one characteristic climate. Unaltered season means thatI do not have to worry about a wide range of clothes that best suit differenttemperatures. All what I need to worry about is fashion and style. Besides,living with only one season doesn’t require a person to adjust him or herselffrequently, so the chance of catching a cold will be relatively low.

Ok, well after a bit of thought, I’ve decided that the book I’d like totalk about is one called Think Like DaVinci, as it's definitely a book I wouldlike to read again at some point, for reasons I'll come on to shortly.
But firstly though, with regard to what the book’s about, well in anutshell, it basically explains how all of us have the capability and potentialto become a genius, like DaVinci. And it outlines a few various things that heused to do, which we can also get into the habit of doing. So essentially, itputs forward some ideas on how we can all live to our full potential.
Anyway, as for what made me read it, well if my memory serves me correctly,I was browsing around in my local bookshop one day, and the book's cover kind ofjust caught my eye when I saw the name DaVinci written in big bold letters. So Iread a few pages to see if it was any good, and ended up buying it.
I should also mention the fact that I'm quite a big fan of self-help books,because on the whole, I tend to learn quite a lot from them, and this book wasdefinitely no exception. Just to give you an example, I would say I've learnedto become much more observant after reading this book, such as generally payingmore attention to everything around me. And in so doing, it’s made me appreciatethings a lot more.
Of course, there were a number of other things I learned, but nothing elseis coming to mind right now, and that's really kind of why I wanna read the bookagain, because I've forgotten a lot of it. So I kind of need torefresh my memorya little bit!

Ok right then, well I’ve decided to talk about a speech I once heard thatleft a really deep impression on me, and it was by a guy called Li Kaifu, whoI’m not sure if you’ve heard of before, but he’s one of the most accomplishedand respected businessmen here in China, which is why I made the effort tolisten to what he had to say. And I listened to it at home on my computer, cos Iwas lucky enough to find an mp3 recording online of a speech he once gave atBeijing University.
But anyway, as for what he talked about, well it was quite a while ago whenI heard it, probably about two or 3 years ago, so I can only remember bits ofit, but in a nutshell, it was about success and how we can go about achievingit. So for example, one thing he touched upon was how we should all follow ourdreams, instead of simply doing what other people expect of us. And hearing thisfrom Li Kaifu really made me believe in the truth of that statement, becausehe’s speaking from experience.
So I thought it was really informative and I was able to learn a tremendousamount from it, such as, you know, how to be successful in what we do, and alsowhat values we should live our lives by. What else?……um……Oh yeah, and anotherthing that made his talk especially interesting was the fact that he used a lotof stories. So I mean, even though his talk went on for over an hour or so, Ididn’t feel bored at all listening to it. So um yeah, that’s pretty mucheverything I can remember about it. Thanks for listening!
