此件贯耳壶仿自青铜器造型，挺拔俊雅，高足外撇，方阔沈稳；瓶颈两侧附管状双耳。器型仿明投壶式样。通体由上至下起弦纹五道，通体施青釉，釉色青翠，介于梅子青，粉青之间，釉面凝厚莹澈，历千年而精光未泯，愈见宝光内蕴；釉内多有气泡，聚沫攒珠，润泽如酥，口沿釉薄处浅露胎骨，圈足底无釉露灰白胎泛火石红，亦正是高濂《遵生八笺》、文震亨《长物志》所追求的“堂中插花”所用之器，清心古雅。整器敦实质朴，风韵古雅，体现出淡恬古雅的独特艺术风格，一展崇尚纯净一色的审美品味。此瓶论器型、釉色、皆属上乘。此种粉青釉弦纹瓶存世极少，同类于此器型者寥寥无几，实为异常难得的隽品。台北故宫博物院藏有带乾隆御题诗之龙泉窑青瓷弦纹贯耳壶，形制与本品极为相近，故宫博物院亦有同类藏品，宋代仅见官窑同器型制品。
This pierced-ear pot is modeled after a bronze vessel, tall and straight, elegant, with high feet curled outward, and square, broad and steady. Tubular ears are attached to both sides of the bottleneck. The shape of the vessel imitates that of the Ming throwing pot. The whole body has five chords from top to bottom. The whole body is glazed with green glaze, which is between plum green and pink green. The glaze is thick and clear, and has remained clean for thousands of years. The more treasure light is contained in it. There are many bubbles in the glaze, gathering foam and beads, moist and crisp, with the thin part of the mouth along the glaze showing the fetal bones, and the flat sole of the circle showing no glaze, and the gray tire showing flint red. It is also the device used in the "flower arrangement in the hall" pursued by Gao Lian"s "Zunsheng Bajian" and Wen Zhenheng"s "Changwuzhi", which is pure in heart and quaint. The whole device is stocky, simple and elegant in style, which reflects the unique artistic style of Tian Tian and Gu Ya, and shows the aesthetic taste of advocating pure color. This bottle is superior in shape, glaze and color. This kind of pink green glaze string pattern bottle is rare in the world, and there are few of its kind in this type of bottle. It is really an extremely rare and meaningful product. The Palace Museum in Taipei has a celadon string-pattern pierced ear pot with a poem inscribed by Gan Long. Its shape is very similar to this product. The Palace Museum also has similar collections. Only the same type of ware from official kilns was found in the Song Dynasty.
