今天先来学三个比较简单的状语从句:结果状语从句、方式状语从句和地点状语从句。
一、方式状语从句
学英语就要像外国人学英语一样，天天说英语。 When at Rome, do as Romans do.入乡随俗。典型的方式状语从句，在罗马，要像罗马人那样去做。方式状语从句的连词就是“好像，像”，比如as, like, as if, as though, 等
You ought to do as I tell you.你应该按照我说的做。
The old lady treats the boy as if he were her own son.这位老太太对待这个男孩就像他是自己的亲儿子一样。
注意: as if& as though引导的从句一般用虚拟语气。但如果所陈述的情况与事实相符，也可用陈述语气。
二、结果状语从句
像外国人天天说英语，结果就是我爱上了学英语。爱到每天都要学英语，不然睡不着。
I love English so much that I can fall asleep without reading it every day.我是如此喜欢英语，以至于我每天不读英语就睡不着。如此……以至于是结果状语从句的典型连词用法。
常用的连词有: so that, so……that 和such ……that等。用法如下:
1. So +形容词/副词＋that 从句
So+形容词＋a/an +可数名词单数＋that从句
So+many/much/few/little(少）＋名词＋that从句。
He is so clever that he can work out many difficult maths problems.＝ He is so clever a boy that he can work out many maths difficulties. 他是如此聪明，以至于可以解决很多数学难题。
2. Such+a/an+形容词＋可数名词单数＋that从句
Such+形容词＋可数名词复数/不可数名词＋that从句
Such+ a lot of/lots of +名词＋that
He is such a clever boy that he can work out many difficult maths problems.
注意: 这两种句型可以和too……to(太……而不能)，enough… to(足够……来)和so……as to(那么……以至于)互换。
三、地点状语从句
爱学英语的高境界是一天不读就睡不着，那到底在哪里读呢？就涉及到了地点状语从句。常用连词有: where. Wherever，no matter where和everywhere等:
Wherever: wherever I go, there is an English book in my hand.不换我去哪里，手里总是有一本英语书。
Where there is a will,there is a way.有志者，事竟成。
